Michael H. Kestenbaum, Esq., is the Co-Managing Partner in the firm’s Orlando office with more than 17 years of experience litigating significant and complex claims. He is the co-chair of the Wrongful Death, Boating and Maritime practice groups. Michael has been selected as one of Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars for a number of years. His practice includes the defense of surgical and catastrophic claims and suits including wrongful death cases in the areas of premises liability, automobile and trucking liability, general liability, liquor liability and negligent security. Michael also handles products and medical device liability, professional liability directors and officers, creditor’s rights, and governmental liability matters.

Michael has experience litigating single plaintiff and class action employment cases in federal and state courts involving alleged violations of federal and state anti-discrimination laws (including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and the Florida Civil Rights Act), leave laws, wage and hour laws, and background check laws (including the Fair Credit Reporting Act). He additionally represents condominium and homeowners associations in matters involving alleged breach of fiduciary duty, covenant enforcement disputes, and Fair Housing Act/discrimination matters.

Michael graduated from Princeton University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, cum laude, in 2004. Michael is admitted in Florida (2004). He is also admitted in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2004).
