Mr. Partin formed the consulting and accounting firm of Mueller & Partin on October 1, 1984 after eleven years working as a consultant for an international accounting firm and managing large scale manufacturing facilities. Mr. Partin is the principal of the firm, collaborates with associates on all engagements, and provides expert testimony as required. He has been qualified as an expert witness in the fields of economics, business valuation and accounting. Mr. Partin’s extensive practice includes the economic analysis of damage claims in disputes involving personal injury, wrongful death, business income losses, and business valuations. He has been engaged as an expert to analyze over 5,000 damage claims over the past 30 years and has testified as an expert witness at trial in excess of 150 occasions in numerous states over the course of his career. Mr. Partin also has provided seminars to the industry and legal profession on measurement of economic damages as well as published articles concerning the framework for the measurement of business income losses.
Mr. Partin received his BBA degree from Washington State University and subsequently attended graduate school at Seattle University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and as an Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF). Mr. Partin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Forensic Economists, the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Appraisers.
