Taylor guides individuals and businesses through complicated litigation and assists with professional and personal planning to avoid future litigation.
Taylor specializes in the areas of malpractice defense, general civil litigation, health care law, and commercial law. He also provides services in estate planning, trusts, and probate law. Taylor has represented individuals, medical professionals, medical institutions, small family-owned businesses, and large corporations in civil litigation in state court, federal court, and administrative EEOC matters. Taylor has helped individuals and businesses create plans to avoid litigation through contract review and incident analysis. Taylor has assisted in the formation of and transfer of ownership interests in business entities.
Prior to joining Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh, Taylor was an associate attorney with The Hardison Law Firm, P.C., in Memphis, Tennessee (2014-17) and an associate attorney with DuBois & DuBois, P.C., in Columbia, Tennessee (2012-14). He graduated from the College of William & Mary School of Law. During law school, he served as the managing editor of the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review and served as a graduate research fellow in trademark law. He was commissioned as a Blackstone Fellow by Alliance Defending Freedom.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebekah, and their children, Liza and Barrett. He is an avid SCUBA diver, an ardent supporter of Tottenham Hotspur, and a member of the Highland Church of Christ.
