Michael J. Schwartz, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Boca Raton office. He has 40+ years of trial litigation experience handling insurance defense claims. He has extensive jury trial experience including more than 30 as first chair. Martindale-Hubbell and his peers have rated him AV® Preeminent™. He concentrates his practices in first and third party premises, motor vehicle (including trucking), nursing home, medical and health care liability, negligent security and products liability cases. Michael has also defended hundreds of professional liability cases from nursing home negligence to insurance agent errors and omissions matters. He has handled class actions both nationwide and locally in federal and state court.

Michael has also argued upwards of thirty appeals. He began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph Nesbitt of the District Court of Appeal for the Third District of Florida. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McGill University (1977). He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law (1981). He is admitted in Florida (1982), and to the U.S. District Court, Southern (1982) and Middle Districts (2014) of Florida. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit (1983).
