Sean J. Fisher is the Managing Partner of the Pensacola office. Sean focuses his practice on premises
liability, negligent security, first party property and general liability matters. He has extensive
experience handling claims involving slip and falls, trip and falls, falling objects, shopping carts,
foreign substances, defective conditions on the premises, inadequate security and negligent hiring.
Sean handles cases with damages involving surgical and catastrophic injuries resulting from
automobile accidents, boating accidents and trucking accidents. He has experience handling time
limit demands, policy limit demands and tender matters. Sean also represents homeowner
associations and condo associations arising from claims of breach of contracts, breach of fiduciary
duty, negligence claims and dangerous conditions. Sean also handles sexual misconduct cases
arising out of negligent security and negligent hiring claims.
Sean handles professional liability matters involving attorneys, real estate brokers and salespersons,
insurance professionals, and financial representatives. He also handles matters involving
employment practices liability claims, directors and officers claims, and governmental liability
matters. Most recently, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, he has provided advice to companies
related to compliance with the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked for a multi-state creditor’s rights firm handling matters involving
the Florida and Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade
Practices Act. Sean also worked for an insurance defense firm focusing on premises liability,
construction defect, product liability, general liability and first-party property matters. In this
capacity, Sean has handled all phases of litigation through trial in both State and Federal Court.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware, 2007. He obtained his Juris Doctor
from Florida Coastal School of Law, 2011. Sean is admitted in Florida (2012). He is admitted to the
United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida (2013). Sean is
also admitted in New Jersey (2011). He is admitted in Kentucky (2020).
