Dr. Rentschler is a biomechanist specializing in the study of the forces and mechanics associated with injuries to the human body.
Dr. Rentschler applies this work to all segments of the human body involved in collisions and other impact-producing events.
While at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Rentschler investigated the mechanism of orthopedic injuries.
Dr. Rentschler has also worked with the National Hockey League to research, develop and test designs to improve player safety.
