Christopher Soelling is a full-time mediator and arbitrator. He practiced 20 years as a construction, commercial, and real estate trial lawyer with Short, Cressman, & Burgess, PLLC where he represented suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, developers, private owners, and public entities in contract drafting, claim preparation, claim negotiation, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal.
As an arbitrator, Chris has first hand experience both prosecuting and defending construction claims. Chris has also mediated hundreds of cases, from simple home remodeling disputes to multi-party claims involving bridges, water lines, condominiums, and office towers. Chris is a member of the construction and commercial arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association, chair of the SKBA ADR section, secretary of the WSBA Construction section, and is a frequent speaker on construction and dispute resolution topics.
