Paul Michienzie, Esq., is the Managing Partner of the Boston, Massachusetts office. He has over 36 years of Trial Litigation experience and over 20 jury verdicts. Martindale-Hubbell and his peers have
also rated him AV® Preeminent™. Paul’s practice is largely devoted to insurance defense and lender liability, where he represents manufacturers, suppliers, design professionals, lenders, creditors, construction companies, property owners, and other businesses against claims of negligence, bad
faith, breach of warranty, products liability, creditor liability, construction defect, toxic torts, and premises liability in large-loss and complex, multi-party cases. He also handles trucking liability, automobile negligence, liquor liability, negligent security, commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters.
Paul was the co-founding member of Michienzie & Sawin where he practiced from 2000-2023. Prior to founding Michienzie & Sawin LLC, he had practiced at several major prestigious Boston Law Firms and
also worked as in-house counsel at General Cinema Corporation where he oversaw outside counsel.
Paul speaks regularly on panel sessions at The Gavel National Claims Defense Network claims conferences on Products Liability, Construction Defects litigation and other pertinent industry topics.
Paul received a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College, graduating magna cum laude (1983). He obtained a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School (1986). While in law school, Paul was a staff writer and an Associate Editor for Willier & Hart’s Uniform Commercial Code Reporter Digest.
Paul is admitted in Massachusetts (1986), Connecticut (2018) and New Hampshire (2021). He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts (1986), the United States
