Ms. Burdin has been practicing law in Texas since 1980. She has mediated in excess of 2,000 disputes and is one of our most requested mediators. She has extensive experience in personal injury disputes, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in tort litigation. She taught workers’ compensation seminars at SMU School of Law and has conducted numerous litigation and risk management training seminars for employers, insurance carriers, and plaintiff attorneys. She also taught mediators through the Dallas Bar Association Mediation Training Program. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Burdin worked as a claims adjuster.
Following law school, she worked as a trial attorney with a large firm before beginning her solo practice. She is frequently requested as a mediator in cases involving sensitive issues. She is also experienced in the intricacies of insurance policy coverage disputes and issues relating to claim handling practices. Ms. Burdin has been recognized by her peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas (D Magazine) and Texas Super Lawyer (Texas Monthly).
