Ms. Poole is a graduate of the North Carolina State University and the Campbell University School of Law.

Ms. Poole utilized her time at Campbell Law to gain diverse legal experience, and to establish herself as a leader and top advocate in her class. She excelled in several advocacy courses, and was awarded top honors for her performance in Campbell’s Advanced Trial Advocacy course. During law school, Ms. Poole developed a love for legal research and writing through her work on an independent research project, which resulted in a book length novel legal argument for expanded constitutional protections. Ms. Poole served in several leadership roles, including as a member of Campbell Law’s Pro Bono Council and the school’s Leadership Council, as well as Co-Director of Campbell Law’s chapter of the North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence. Upon graduation, Ms. Poole was recognized for her dedication to service, leadership, and advocacy, being honored with the 2021 Student Advocacy Award.

During law school, Ms. Poole gained practical experience through her work at the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation, Ms. Poole continued her work in the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office as a volunteer Assistant District Attorney. Her time as an ADA positioned her with the unique opportunity to be in a courtroom daily, where she was able to argue motions and obtain trial experience. Her work as an ADA allowed her to develop into a poised and confident courtroom advocate.

Ms. Poole pursues legal work comprised of complex issues, in an environment focused on providing each client with top-tier representation. Ms. Poole has worked to defend clients facing a wide array of general liability claims at both the state and federal level, in addition to her defense of medical malpractice claims brought against both facilities and providers.
