Tyler Black hit the ground running with the DELTA |v| Charlotte office in 2014. He has a can do, adventurous attitude as demonstrated by his willingness to relocate his family from Charleston to join the firm. He has unique experience in vehicle rollover reconstructions and uses advanced 3D modeling techniques to determine vehicle speeds and occupant ejection portals. Tyler is always ready to hit the road for rapid response assignments where timely capture of critical scene evidence helps clients resolve motor vehicle claims. Tyler has an innate ability to clearly discuss highly technical matters when testifying in legal proceedings.

Tyler cut his teeth in the accident reconstruction industry for seven years prior to joining the company. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University while working full-time and starting a family. His emphasis in graduate school was on vehicle systems and dynamics, which has enhanced his credibility in testifying on reconstruction matters.

Tyler and his family admittedly miss the seaside life of Charleston but are grateful to be part of a dynamic company that invests in his professional development. Instead of walks on the beach, Tyler and his family enjoy the local attractions of Charlotte including Discovery Place, the U.S. National Whitewater Center, and Carowinds.
