Trent Koerner was born and raised near Lake Geneva, WI. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Spanish (Linguistics) and International Studies (Global Security). He also received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin. While in law school, Trent served as a patient advocate in the law school's Center for Patient Partnerships clinic and as a student associate in the UW Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. He was also a member of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and an articles editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal. During law school, Trent interned for Justice Prosser at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Prior to joining Corneille Law Group, Trent served as a staff attorney for the Honorable Stephen Ehlke, Peter Anderson, David Conway, Susan Crawford, and Timothy Samuelson at the Dane County Circuit Court.
In his free time, Trent enjoys running, cycling—and nearly anything else outdoors—as well as eating good food, comedy, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
